This policy explains what Catch Process does with the information you give us through this website, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.

Who runs this website

This website is run by Catch Process, an AI automation consultancy based in the United Kingdom and working with businesses here and internationally. Our website address is catchprocess.com, and you can reach us by email at james@tarkawebdesign.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page, and we will give you a postal address for written correspondence if you ask for one. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What this site collects, and why

If you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give us one, and whatever you write in the message. We use it for one thing: to reply to you, and to talk about the work if it goes further.

A message sent through the form is stored on this website and emailed to us at the same time, so that we can answer it. It is kept until we delete it — we go through enquiries from time to time and remove the ones we no longer need. If you would like your message deleted sooner, email us and we will do it.

The contact form is the only form on this site. We do not sell what you send us, we do not add you to a mailing list without asking, and we do not pass it to anybody else except the host described below.

Who else handles it

This website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design Ltd, who also deliver the email the website sends. They process this information on our behalf and on our instructions, and they do not use it for anything of their own.

Cookies

This website sets two cookies it cannot work without: a session cookie, which keeps track of your visit as you move between pages, and a security cookie, which stops the forms on the site being misused. Neither follows you to other websites and neither is used for advertising.

Our own visitor counts are cookieless: we count pages viewed without storing anything on your device and without building a profile of you.

If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask you first. Nothing of that kind is set until you accept it, and your answer is remembered in your browser so that you are not asked again on every page. You can change your mind by clearing the site data for this website in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and object to our using it. Email james@tarkawebdesign.com and we will deal with it — normally within a few days, and in any case within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the website, or the way we work, changes. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
